I have fitted a new tap. However after a week the plastic filter has been clogged by debris in the system and there is only a reduced flow. How do I take these plastic filter off the bath taps. Bought them from B&Q

Do you mean the plastic bit in the end of the spout ? If so it will screw out, you may need a pair of grips to do it.
 
about a year ago, had the same problem for a client, as nick says they generally shouls screw out. for some obscure reason, this one had been glued in.
i ended up buying the lady a set of taps!!!
it was also bought from b+q.

hopefully now updated a pair of grips on it, and it should unscrew.

tip. replace it with a chrome aerator type, looks like theres a lot nore water flowing in than there actually is.
