Blue / Green Hot Water

Hi Chaps

I just got back from a call out. My customers hot water is coming out with a very light blue / green tint to it. The incoming mains water is clear and so is the water in the CWS. I've told them to run the hot water for an hour or so tommorow morning to see if it clears. Has anyone got any idea what could cause it? and an effective way to get rid of it?

It is called ambience. Some people would pay good money for that.

No. I checked the F&E tank and it was a normal light tea colour. Just what I would expect to find.

Maybe there is a split in the coil in the cylinder and the f & e tank is leaking into the ho****er causing dicolouration of the hot water. There would be other symptons though if this were the case.

the cylinder is breaking down inside and is due to burst, flog them a new one before its too late.

Yeah but it got me away from saturday night tele so its wasnt all bad
