boiler Ages

Any body know of a web site where I can look up the production span/ ages of boilers. I only go on the Manuals library but cant seem to find when an individual boiler model first started being built and when they ceased making them. Spotted a baxi bermuda bbu in a bedroom and as i understand it , if it was fitted after 1998 its illegal come what may.

You cannot fit open flued appliances in bedrooms or rooms that are used for slleping unless it has an oxypilot and has to be under a certain size.

Its a baxi bermuda sp3(r) . I have just looked this up and it does have an ASD. Its in a rented room but looking at 10.9 and 10.10 of the unsafe situations and am not sure what its telling me. Its as clear as mud. Anybody out who could clarify it
