Hi guys, i have a buderus 28c with a knackered fan unit, an ebm papst rg128/1300-3612 , the bearings are going as it sounds like a tornado on spin down.
I just purchased a replacement unit off ebay but the casing is slightly different. Rather than go through the hasstle of sending it back i decided to simply swap the internals over. on taking the old one out i found that the horizontal rubbers were completely missing. Theres nowhere for them to go so they must have been left off at the factory ( its about 7 years old )
I took the covers off, removed the boards, took out the coils but cant seem to get the actual fan blade unit off the central shaft. I have turned clockwise and counter clockwise, there doesnt appear to be any circlips etc that i can see.. Does anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks
