Who uses it and which manufacturers offer it?

i have a customer with the boiler on the way out and the tanks leaking too.

haven't got enough money to pay outright.

Also to what extent do they offer it? Just the cost of their bits or your labour too?

Thanks guys

Minefield.

Its not something you can hop in and out of. The finance companies are looking for big numbers to make it worth their while. Can they pay by credit card?

Hmm so far ive found out ideal and baxi are offering it, ideal seems more promising.

No idea with this customer, my mum has fatally said "billy will sort you out, don't worry he will look after you"

might have called her a few choice words when she told me... Haha

cylinders leaking and the boilers had one fault after another.

small place so perfect for a combi.

It's through simple trade finance, you need to be registered with them as a partner. You cannot introduce a customer to them without a consumer credit license as you would be classed as an intermediary. They do he advertising with your details attached.

This is law so as far as I know there is no legal get around.

Others sources of credit, banks etc won't take you seriously unless you have trading history and a decent turnover to back it up, I've tried and failed.

Consumer credit is not a simple procedure, as I say its a minefield.

Your best bet will be getting them to grab a 0% credit card to slap it on.

That's Ideal, Baxi go direct with Hitachi so I can only imagine you require a CCL

0% credit card is their best bet loads about now banks are starting to ping loans out now otherwise your going to lose out to vrap like help link or whatever

We do finance now, have been for a few months. Binned the ideal one , it initially looked better but it was shister. Baxi one is easy. We just call Baxi as they call the custard directly and arrange finance. It's secured on house so any one gets it ! Standard wzza.

Oh yeh main issue is the 14 day shnizzle. If we fit it as an urgent job and it's on finance we live on squeaky bum for a fortnight!
