Hi Folks, need some advice. we have a 12yrold BGas boiler energysaver combi boiler, since about 2009 the boiler has been playing up and every engineer that we have had out for various reasons/service have commented on the size of the boiler, parts are hard to find and that they are replacing these. In the last few weeks the boiler has started to either trip the electrics or now starting to flash 1 then 8 - everytime we use the hot water. We have found out that the flashing code is issues with the thermostat.
We have have decided to replace and reposition the boiler but this will not be done until next month (august) but now the boiler seems to be flashing 1 & 8 over the any use of ho****er or for no reason at all and in the night. - Should we get the boiler done sooner rather than next month.
Await your advice
Cheers
Glen
