Hi guys,
I’ve been living in this house about 3 weeks and the pressure on the boiler has dropped from 1.1 bar to .7.
When I try to re-pressurise it, it leaks out of the gold thing I’ve taken a picture of.
Any ideas?
Thanks

If your not GSR you should not be in there call a qualified engineer. As you have removed the casing switch boiler off until a qualified person has attended

Well fair enough,
Do you know if it’s a common problem or if it’s going to be an expensive fix? If it’s going to be a steep problem I may take out British Gas insurance.
Cheers

Labour costs vary from various places around the country and from engineer to engineer and company to company, so wouldn’t be best to advise a price.

It will be expensive if you take out British gas homecare especially if they notice it leaking before they take it on.

Get a good local gas engineer in and they will sort it for you.

Maybe post where your from on here and one of the gas guys on here can help you.

I cannot see you getting BG after the event, they are quite cute and often like to see what they are technically insuring
and wrap it up as an initial
'service' and if it comes up as
a radical you have no chance
let us know how you get on
