Ideal classic FF250 boiler

Lifestyle LP522 control

Dear All,

would appreciate any suggestions or advice as our central heating and hot water stopped working this morning without any prior warning.

have checked all obvious areas, and checked the correct operation of the control box (calling for water / heating when required) Thermostat both room and on tank and also at the boiler, and all are 'calling' for the boiler to fire up when they are supposed to.

the pilot light is on, and when the boiler is called for, the fan opperates and so on, but the boiler does not fire up, apart from the pilot light?

the control valve is opperating correctly as is the pump.

any suggestions as to what the issue might be?

all help and suggestions will be greatfully recieved.

Paul.

Hi paullewis and welcome to the forum.

if the pilot lights but nothing happens after that its going to need a gas safe registered engineer to sort it.
