thermocouple is behind the combustion chamber door sealed with asbestos ? am i wrong Tom ?

They have asbestos gaskets and insulation on them. Watch what you are doing if you touch it.

will not atem touching it , will change gas valve tomorrow if it needs new thermocouple will not be mi who will fit it .

pilot i son then call for heat boiler fires all works well then sudden cut out and boiler goes of and takes pilot out , boiler is not over heating !

Pump is running smooth !

Must be the gas valve/ thermocouple issue there . Any suggestions any one

Could be a few things.

Poor combustion leading to the pilot searching for air and moving away from the thermocouple.

Weak pilot flame not holding on thermocouple due to draw from main burner.

Thermocouple on its way out

Have you tried a FGA?
