Does anyone know of a current regulation regarding the distance a kitchen sink bowl or tap has to be away from a wall hung boiler ?

600mm from a water source or area. No gas reg thou. It's all electrical

Doesn't it depend on some 'electrical splash value' thingamajig? I know that's not that technical but there are some boilers that have been rated to be installed where others darecent tread :) I'll dig deeper and maybe come back with a bit more techy stuff, unless someone can pick it out of their knowledge banks and post here

may not be relevant to this question as such but electrical fixtures have different IP ratings dependant on what protection/ingress they offer. IP ratings will cover everything from dust to things that work under water.

there was a couple of threads and info sourced on this last year.
