Boiler Noise On Worcester Boiler

Hi folks, anyone know why our Worcester boiler is making this buzzing noise, it just seems to happen randomly and only goes when you physically turn the boiler off then on again, then it might not happen again for another 6/7 hours, sometimes sooner. Do I need a plumber to come look at it, or is it something I could fix.

Best way is to keep a diary date and time of the noise then you’ll be able to predict when it’s going to make the noise again.

Get a plumber in for around that time.

Do you have a condensate pump ?

The times are pretty random so it’s quite hard to predict when it is going to happen, and sorry I don’t have a clue if I have a condensate pump . I thought trapped air might be causing it, but I’m just guessing.

I think that boiler needs a new pump. Must be done by a Gas Safe Registered engineer. You can call Worcester:

Customer Support Hub | Worcester, Bosch Group

and get them to sort you out. I'm not sure how much they'll charge but ask about their fixed-price repairs.

Get it done ASAP, you don't want to be without heating over Xmas.
