Is the KW heat input or output?
Just going through my portfolio and looking at the meter readings taken and trying to get my head round everything.
Just had a Potterton Puma 80E and it says input is 30kw, output 24kw, which is a big difference.
Just to let you know, I have all folders/ books. But am doing unvented on 23rd November so dont want to start reading gas until after 23rd November
thanks guys

for the puma 24 divided by 30 = 80% efficiency, which is about right for this boiler, 24 is output & 30 is input [gross]
for gas rate you use the boiler heat input DHW [ gross] in this case 30
