Hi all,

I have a problem with my gas boiler. Sometimes I see the boiler making noises when I use the hot water, the pressure increases to 1.5-2 bars and it switches itself off (i guess this is a safety feature). Then I wait until the pressure goes to its normal level (0.5 bars as far as I know) and I open the boiler to press the button in order to switch it on.

Any ideas whats wrong with it and can I fix it myself?

What you need is to get a Gas Safe Registered Engineer to have a look at your boiler. No you can't fix it yourself.
