I have a baxi combi he.

want to ask about the bar pressure, when heating is off the bar pressure is at 1 bar (green triangle)
when the heating is put on and the boiler display has reached the temperature of 80, the pressure is at 3 bar, it slow moves up as the temperature increases.
but the when all cooled down it returns to 1 bar and stays at that, I have never noticed this problem before, boiler been in 2 years, had the service down and had self bleeding valves fitted to all radiators.

Can an anyone tell me if this is normal

You will get an increase in pressure when the heating is on due to expansion but 3 bar seems High, When was it serviced?

You will need a gas safe engineer to look at it. It could be a fairly simple fix but you will need to go inside the boiler casing.

As above get a gas safe eng out from 1-1.2 bar cold should be no higher than about 2.5 bar hot
