Hi all

May seem a silly question to some, but I've only ever installed a boiler in a freehold property.

I've got a quote to do in a flat tomorrow, open flued boiler with OV cylinder convert to combi.

Are there any requirements for the new owner to gain permission from the freeholder? Will need a 127mm core through the wall where there wasn't previously one....!

many thanks

dan

Shouldn't be a problem with a lease hold. It would depend on the length of the lease. Most flats are leasehold. If a landlord was renting out the property then you would need permission because it is short term.
