Hi All looking for some advice. Boiler has broken down after 20 months but has a 7 year warranty I have had the unit serviced but just noticed when looking at paperwork the the print out is dated October 2017 when the service was carried out in October 2016. Does this matter or is it just a case that the engineer has not updated in meter date. Concerned the manufacturer will use this to get out of the warranty. Boiler is a potterton. Any advice would be grateful

Boiler is a potterton

Just call the customer support number for Potterton:

Repairs

and they'll get you sorted out.

It's always wise to keep copies of receipts for servicing and check they are correctly dated at the time they are issued.

Thanks Chuck couldn't find the receipt but luckily the engineer had stapled the print out into the service book. The service book is filled out with the correct date but the print out was one year out to the day. Have contacted potterton and a engineer is coming out tomorrow so can't fault service only noticed today when I was get the paperwork ready for this visit and got a bit worried.

cant see it being a problem contact potterton customer services they will book you a service call cheers kop
