hi everyone just a quick question just wondered if a 25kw worcester 25si would be enough for a 3 bedroom bungalow with 9 rads and 1 bathroom and a shower im assuming its more than enough ??

If thats what your gas safe enginer has sized doing the whole house sizing method and checked your incoming flow rate and pressure i would listen to him

if its a combi i always revcomend a min output of 28kw makes the hot water just a bit better

im not gas reg but down here near the moors 28 to 30 kw is more appropriate!

the 25kw is what would be used for the hot water demand. Is that good enough? it depends on the hot fixtures demand and cold mains performance Which needs to be measured by the gas safe engineer quoting the work.

It'll cover the heating but filling the bath will take a bit longer. The 30si is a better bet but there about £110 more but worth it imo

As stevetheplumber says otherwise you will be very disappointed in winter when incoming mains is only 5 degrees :)

get an ideal if on budget or a vaillant if feeling flush but avoid worcesters they arent what they used to be!
