If the flu from a boiler is changed, extended etc in any shape or form does it require any inspection or certificate. Basically mines been extended still in a straight line vertical but is now approx 5 ft longer the boiler is a worcester combi

well it should have been done by a gas safe engineer, you do not need any paperwork from them, but after extended, boiler operation should have been checked for safe operation and if you would feel better with paperwork,am sure the gas safe engineer will give you a cert on request
If you have had done by a builder,it should not have been and would advise you get it inspected

first of all why has it been altered???? and secondly has it been altered correctly by a registered installer and to manufacturers instructions ?????
If so a gas safety certificate should have been issued after any works had been carried out with the registered installers gas safe licence number proving that the job had not been carried out by an illegal installer
