Hi. I have a baxi solo boiler that fires up each day heating our water and radiators. However, after some hours the radiators go cold. I can only get them to heat up again if the hot water taps are open and the tank is emptied of hot water! Have had several engineers out to check but they just say that our boiler needs replacing. I understand that it is an old boiler but it works. I think it is a control issue. Can anyone help.

Thanks.

Sounds like a faulty zone valve maybe motoring on heating demand but not sending a feed back to the boiler. Controls issue maybe faulty micro switch in heating zone valve new head required

It almost sounds like i know what im talking about, amazing how easily people are decieved lol
