why is this coming out of the flue for and terminating at lower level with condense??

I'd give them a ring but it looks like something that has been made up.
 
nor have i ,
fga readings were fine , gas rated fine and flue was all good
flame picture good
was just that contraption lol
 
I've seen something similar on commercial linked flues but never on domestic.
 
it is a vaillant part its to prevent condensation problems on long flue runs on their non condensing boilers
 
Renni do the same on their water heaters , it's to get rid of condense from 'V' flue
 
To stop a storm/heavy rain flooding the boiler on a vertical flue?
 
Came across this before. The verticle flue was at least 4m long though.
 
I've used a few, but it was yrs ago and I cannot remember the make of boiler
 
I have seen one like that on an old baxi with vert flue pre condensing boiler I think glow worm hideawys have them as well to take flue condensation away
