hi, was just wondering is a grundfos 1.5 shower booster pump suitable to pump all hot and cold services in a one story apt including washing machine and dishwasher

will the load on the pump be to much over time with the washing machine and dishwasher being pumped

I assume both your hot and colds are fed from a single cistern?

If you are taking from a header tank you need 2 independent pumps or if hot or cold only other side will wear out if no water moving.

a negative head pump was there previously and has burnt out after 5 years

I assume it was a double one? You need two singles.

Are the hot and cold both from the same cistern?

ye they are both from the same cistern and ye it was a double.... thanks for the info

Hang onto your old pump for spares or Ebay it for parts - always useful to someone.
