I’ve had it on gravity hot mains cold

Open the hot tap first then the cold find the cold shuts / forces / puts pressure on the hot nrv

And when you try opening the hot again nothing

Find giving the hot nrv a little smear of silicon grease helps a lot

Now Bristan are no longer buying from diff chinese manus but making themselves. It will only get worse as the accountants squeeze ever harder...

FWIW I rate Vado kit & service. They genuinely seem to be interested in keeping their kit in your home rather than flogging new each time.

That might explain the drop in quality of heritage bathroom products then. Had a few complaints with the last couple of bathrooms I've done
