Hi

I have an interview/assessment next week for BG contract servicing, having passed the online tests.

Anyone who has done one of these, advise appreciated.

Even though I am going for servicing, do you have to do many multimeter tests?
Do you have to do a repair?
Do they take up references?
Has the work been localish?

Thanks

you will be quizzed on safety, safety, then some safety and perhaps at the end they might ask about safety, so its all about IUP, flue flow and spillage, you will need to be conversant with electrical safety tests they use a "socket & see"
all the time we bang on abouy CYA, but for the purpose of the test think CBGA and you will be fine, dont think you will do any physical repairs but will prob be asked about some fault finding basic questions, why do you ask if they take up references? that seems to indicate one thing to me, up here in sunny scotland they were recruiting in glasgow without telling the guys they were required to work in aberdeen, but they would pay your digs for you, whoopy do

Good luck with the interview GASMAN10,hope it all works out Ok for you,let us know :)
