BRITONY COMBI SE 80 FAULT

Hello,
I fitted a new pcb because the old one was not sending power to the fan. All working correctly until I put the case back on. Now it shows 40-50-80 flashing on the diagnostic lights. This is not shown in the diagnostic chart.Pump runs and the fan runs if there is a demand for c.h. or d.h.w. No attempted ignition. No visible signs of loose cables. Ariston technical say check both thermistors and case earthing. Has anyone come across this fault?

I'm not saying it's the air pressure switch...but could be related. Blocked flue, weak fan, faulty tubes. Electrical.

Hello, yes, it's just odd that it it shows this fault when the boiler is switched back on with no demand.

I had a similar issue with a Britony. The Venturi was blocked solid. Used a nail to clean the muck out followed by wire wool.

It worked a treat after that.
