Hi, I have recently had the main unit of my Britony II.T HP boiler replaced. The water temp from the new unit is fine, better than before in fact, however it takes about 1 min for the burners to ignite after turning of the hot tap / shower. The old unit was more or less instant!

Advice would be very much appreciated.

Thanks,

John.

The new unit response time should be the same as your old unit, more or less instant, it may require adjustment on water section or some thing is sticking, the installer should have checked this when he put it in
You have a flow/temperature regulator dial on the front, try turning it to the 'minus symbol' less heat/more flow, this may improve start up time

when the plumber /gas safe man fitted the boiler. he should have explain how to work it
if not call him back
if you have the bill, phone him 9 am Monday make his day

good luck
