Broken bath tap some help please

Hoping someone can help. I have the bath tap as shown in the picture. I need to get the bit that sticks out (little round handle) off. The tap doesn't turn off properly as it ends up turning all the way to the wall. To get it off I basically have to pull the whole thing forward and push the tap back. It would be ideal to have that little bit completely off. It's completely round so I can't get a grip on it. It does look like it's likely screwed in but I'm not 100% sure

Does it definitely unscrew? There could be a grub screw or it might pull off.

There's no grub screw. It looks like it does. I'm not 100% sure

The handle will unscrew with access to a grub screw which holds the tap head on . Kop

Annoyingly there's no grub screw on these

There only 2 ways it can be secured a grub screw behind the handle or one 90° to the handle in the tap head usually has a tiny chrome cap covering it ?

Have you tried pulling it off? If no success, with any methods, maybe contact Pegler?

I'd say as K.O.P, the very top thin piece unscrews,
If you look at a blown up photo there seems to have been machining done on the edge, that wouldn't be done if it was 1 piece.
Use rubber gloves to get some grip on it.

It is a Pegler Ebro tap. You undo the pokey-out stick handle🤪 similar to below:
You'll find the grub-screw underneath!
