i recently fitted a bathroom which included a fixed ceiling shower head.

The customer rings me saying when they turn the shower on they dirty (brown) water coming out the head for the first second or so then clears up fine untill the next time. what would you think it was...
 
Yeah, it'll be rust from something...is the shower head made from metal or plastic?

More worrying, it could be a steel pipe/ steel union somewhere in the system. Not quite so easy to solve if that is the case...you'd need to track it down and remove it.

well it was from bath empire 8" LED square shower head (195mm) with next day delivery. Bath Empire the filter is a thimble shape with a rubber waher / 'o' ring on the top its a good job its removable!
