Just wondered what you guys cover copper pipe with when buried in a brick wall? Do you use anything to prevent the new plaster cracking, if there is such a thing?
I use stitch felt lagging, if you press the plaster in behind too it gets a good grip on it. Pipes have a bit of room to expand within the lagging and it always seems to work well.
Waterproof duct tape for cold pipes , it depends on the job really I like the Top sleeve sheepswool type wrap as below it gives a bit of movement but you need more depth cut out the wall or use this method rather than being buried in plaster , kop
Oooo actual Wedi, you and your brand names very posh!
During covid our merchants couldn’t get stitch lagging so we had to use that lambswool stuff - it was pricey and i think not quite as good for stopping rubbing through holes in timber etc. But nicer to use loose fibres wise!
