Can anyone identify this mystery shower valve?

hi guys, got this shower valve that requires an new cartridge but i cant figure out who makes it, i thought the cartridge looked like a mira but theres no manufacturer markings anywhere.

pretty sure it is an old old old Bristan Orta. email the pic to them. If im right the cartridge is >£100

What makes you say it needs a new cartridge? can it not be repaired? (ie change seals and soak cartridge in limescale remover?
