Hello everyone. Quick questions
Can the gas pipe can be run up to the loft between the false plasterboard wall.
What do regulations say about this?

I need more about this. For example we have gas meter downstairs on the first floor we had the boiler all pipes to that boiler was running under floor now we have remove that boiler and install combibolier up in the loft. Our plumer advise us that it is ok to join the gas pipe where the old boiler was and place the pipe inthe false plasterboard wall so that that pipe is not visable? Is that correct or not? What should be done?

Ok so for example we have gas meter downstairs and the boiler was located on the first floor. All the pipes to the boiler was located underfloor. Now our plumer have removed the boiler and installed combiboiler up in the loft and from the place where was an old boiler he advise us thet it is ok to place gas pipe inbetween cavity wall. Is that done correctly?

you can form a pipe casing within the wall you need to check the regs for what you need to do

no compression fittings , protect pipe from penetration by drilling(1mm steel plate ) or sleeve it in mild steel or do that particular run in steel , and pipework to be run behind the plasterboard finish

better to run surface in corner and box it in with correct ventilation.

Ventilation will only be required if the box is 100mm x 100mm x 10m long
