hi, unfortunatly my oil ran out, i now have a full tank and pressed the reset button and the hidden button at the bottom of the boiler. the boiler makes a noise (blowing) for a few seconds then stops. (go easy on me as i am a woman and am blonde...say no more)

Try it again a couple of times and if no luck, return here for more instructions.

Or phone a local oil plumber. Fingers crossed it should be a 30 minute job this evening on his way home. If the oil tank is old then prepare yourself for a heftier bill as the oil line may have become blocked.
