Capping 40mm Waste

Hi all,

Got a kitchen waste that needs dropping, so will need to cap the 40mm waste coming out of strap boss. Space is at premium, is there an actual cap in existance for 40mm solvent weld or do I have to make it coupling + rodding eye?

They do a Compression cap end, if you don't want compression coupling and eye

Boss already got 40mm glued into it so need a cap that ideally goes inside the 40mm or at least outside so I dont have to coupling rodding eye which takes up alot of space.

Isn't that the stuff you need special glue for ?
