Central heating can hear a lot of air. Pipe wrong? Pics

I have a customer who says some rads are getting hot some are not.

From the airing cupboard I can hear what sounds like air in the pipework. I have bled the whole system, ha
d all rads hot but then a couple of days later some rads not hot and need bleeding again.

I have Added some pics, the push fit coupling is on the cold feed from f and e, not done by myself I assume they had a blocked cold feed at some point. Its not blocked now.

Pic 3 looks like the pump is set on 3. Could it be pumping over? Or sucking air in the vent. Is their feed and vent combined already?

Pump was on 2 before pic and problem occurring.

Cold feed goes in then splits off to pump and filter and the vent is the pipe going off to the left in the corner

I'm going back tonight will get some better pictures but definitely pulling air in somehow. Makes no difference what the pump is set to but will leave it on 2.

Works fine sometimes other times not.

I have always been told to combine them. But one of the other lads/lasses May have an idea.

Been to have a look and all seemed OK. Very old residents and the lady keeps blaming the husband for turning it off when he shouldnt. She has said leave it for now. I'm doing her shower next week

How easy is it to convert to a sealed system? Because of their age they don't want a lot of disruption.
