Hi I have a problem with the central heating I've taken off the programmer off the wall and just left the back plate up, the boiler is still going, can the motorised vale call for heat even without a programmer? I've checked the lever it can move freely. Thanks

Hi
Under normal operation the boiler should not be firing (unless you have a frost stat & its cold). It is most like to be the motorised valve which is the problem. Do you have a 3 port or two 2 ports ??

PS. Take care if you are poking around, there be 230V in dem :bulb2:
