I have been trying to repair my sons central heating system i have installed a new pump, checked tri-valve manualy. the boiler fires up and the pipes get hot either side of tri-valve but boiler cuts out befor rads get warm.

all rads have been bled, hot water is working but no heat in rads

any ideas?
 
have you bled the pump, the boiler, and checked that both flow and return valves at the boiler are open
 
need more info really ie boiler ? bog standard y plan? has ch been getting gradually worse or just stop one day? does system fill up ok or is it very slow? possibly blocked cold feed? is there an airjec fitted?
