Central heating pump keeps on running

Hi there.for some reason my central heating pump does not want to stop.switch board is off but the pump keeps on running and gets very hot at the same time.i can only stop it by switching off electricity using main switch above switch board.when I put electric back on pump and boiler fire up even if switch board is off.heating engineer changed pump overrun boiler thermostat but nothing has changed.none seems to know where the problem is.can you help,please?

What kind of system do you have ?? IE zone valves ? System boiler ? or is the pump external ?
Could be faulty clock or zone valve not closing properly , id go for valve not closing

1st call back engineer that worked on system, reason it keeps running is its picking up a power supply , as above timer or other valve on system.

Faulty 2 port or 3 port zone valve, probably the heating one sticking if its just started as its been off all summer, fairly common...
