Curently have a vented system with 10mm pipework.

Thinking of making the most of the boiler scrappage amd changing to an unvented system.

I'm also thinking of doing a kitchen extension in the next 6-12 months and digging up the floor and installing underfloor heating in the whole of the kitchen.

Also an additional downstairs shower in the extension.

Is there any additional work which I should get done when installing the boiler which is easier done now rather than at a later date?

check gas supply pipework from meter,if you fit a combi,youll need a least 22 to boiler

Insulation, electric sockets, telephone and TV sockets, secret compartment for hiding valuables when on holiday, easy access to isolating valves for shower, if you're an MP, somewhere to hide your expense receipts ...
