Hi
I'm trying to model a domestic heating system for an academic project. I understand that when heat is required a boiler will heat the system until the return temperature reaches a certain temperature (assuming the set temperature has not been reached first). It will then remain off until the return temperature drops below a certain level at which point it will switch on again.
My question is what is the return temperature at which the boiler will turn off? I guess it probably varies by system, but maybe there is a general rule?
Cheers
