PLUMBERS PLEASE HELP (central heating)?
Hello, this is the problem:

My mum's heating stopped working (oil heating) as there was no heat going to the radiators. I messed it up more by going to the out side boiler and on the EDGB TF 830B box attached to the boiler, I held the button in and there was a spark and something blew. Now there is no power going to the thermostat box in the kitchen.

Do I need to get a new EDGB TF 830B box now? And what would have been the problem in the first place before I blew the box?

Also I changed the fuse in the plug of the EDGB box which solved nothing and another point, it wasn't cold for frozen pipes to have been the original problem. Thanks in advance for any help :)

best call out an oil technician to find out why your control box blew up.

No power to the thermostat doesn't mean there's a fault. It could be volts free contacts you have.
You really need an engineer to check the system correctly.
