I am unable to turn off the radiators despite the programmer/controller saying they are off, even after I switch the radiator switch off on the boiler, the radiators still stay on. I have an Eco Tec plus 824 combi boiler. Some help would be greatly appreciated.

When you press "i" on the display what code is displayed? It'll be S.**, S.04 or S.10 or the likes :) *welcome* to the forum ltoland

Thanks for your reply diamondgas, I will check when I get home. What is the significance of the code?

S.04 is heating demand S.10 is hot water demand ... If the boiler is demanding heating then I'd be checking any external call, clocks programmable stats that sort of thing. If it's S.10 then I'd want to know how and why! :) Any code will help direct the train of thought as to where the problem may lie :)
