why is my heating working upstairs but not downstairs i have bled all the rads in the house

Have you any motorised valves & controls?
Some systems will still heat the upstairs rads if the water pump fails, by gravity. Depends on the way it is piped.

need more info there tom ,what system have you got etc , welcome to the forums too

Sounds like a problem with the pump, only heating getting warm upstairs due to gravity(heat rising in pipes) and not being pumped around the whole system.
