i have altered my timing clock to call for hot water only and no heating.
however the radiatiors still come on hot. When i had the pump replaced ( the old one gave up) the plumber made some comment about the 2 port valves in the wrong positions! I think he set them to manual. What positions should they be in to have hot water and no heating. I moved both the switches to auto which stopped the radiators getting hot. Ok so i thought, however it gets a bit chilly at nite and i put the heating back on on the clock but got no heat. What positions should the switches on the top on the valves be in?
