can ,anyone offer me some advice? i'm currently selling my house and our solicitor is asking for certificates for the centrall heating system. The problem is that i installed the pipework and fitted the radiators myself under instructions from a plumber i was working with at the time, the plumber then fitted my boiler and commisioned the system. the problem is that he didnt forward any paperwork and can no longer be contacted!! can anyone offer a solution?
thanks, Mark

Not sure whether this reply is any help but in every house I've ever sold I have always said that I don't have the paper work. This is invariably the case because as soon as its out of warranty most (not the use manuals) go to the big scrap heap in the sky.

IF this doesn't satisfy your lawyer or the buyers lawyer, then you can get a gas safety check from your mate..... providing hes gas safe registered.
