Evening chaps, gotta change a gas valve on a classic rs350 tomorrow I know they are a pain to change and just wondered if there is a knack to doing them as I struggled my boobs off when I did the last and only other one I have done.

Remove the burner and air box assembly, then remove the control box screws, pull forward and drop. You can then get onto the gas valve connections. To be honest, this is easier than most boilers to get on.

Yeah there's that one screw at the rear left underneath the valve which is a pain to get to....especially when they've tiled up to the boiler so you can't get a screw driver on to it.

Wasn't as bad as the last one....I had a long bender pozi to get to the awkward screw...phew!

I work for a company offering insurance work that I won't name so getting rid of the heap wernt an option.
