changing a mixer tap in kitchen

my mates mixer tap in the kitchen just turns and no hot water comes out, the cold water is running fine , do i have to change the whole unit or can this be fixed . please advise

Hello Steve,

It might be just the cartridge / or washer needs to be replaced.

But make sure the isolation valve is open underneath the kitchen unit.
Maybe bend flex hose


Have you got Horst water everywhere else in the house ?
