I've changed the jets on my hob to LPG but the instructions say that the threads should be sealed with an appropriate thread locking compound/sealant. Does anyone know a suitable product which is heat resistant? I've no idea how hot it gets directly under the burners of a gas hob but I'd have thought the stainless steel deck must conduct quite a lot of heat.

Thanks
