I wouldn't be surprised if you have to re register under the Company name.

A call to Gassafe is the only way to find out

We have just done this and it was no biggie. Just had to fill out a form which we sent back and they altered it (we went from sold trader to ltd) there was a small fee for cards to be changed but as I renew in a few weeks anyway I haven't bothered to get them changed.
