hi all, i'm about to embark on renewing my bathroom suite and while the water is off my mrs wants the pipework changing to chrome in the downstairs wc and i'm going to replace the old stopcock type iso valve for a new one. i have had some advice on another post about draining water for the bathroom but the wc is teed off from the stopcock. if i drain down to there would my boiler be affected and the c/h system?

no ch will be ok , usually bathrooms are low pressure from the cold water storage tank , if you dont have one then it will be mains pressure

that sounds too easy lol ... so combi wont be affected at all by draining down to stopcock? i'll still have to turn it off though while i drain won't i?
