Just wondered if i can chlorinate a new installation of 63mm pipe myself and put the relevant certificate on it. I have already chlorinated it and pressure tested it but i am struggling to find the right way to email the info to united utilities. I am a qualified Plumber but just not very clued up on the mains side. Any help would be appreciated . Thanks

I'm sure this needs to be done by a specialist company that is registered with the water authority.
Did a job last year where a 50mm main was installed under a cobble street. The main had to be connected and the street put back. Then the builder found out it had to be chlorinated. The tester said just bring some more 50mm, lay it on the ground and I will test it.
He chlorinated it, sat in the van for an hour, filled the paperwork, charged £500 and was off!
Pointless. But a paper filling exercise.
