There was a post a week or so back about it, may be worth a quick search.
Although I believe the tubs of chlorine pellets do have instructions with them
 
It's normally easier to get a firm in tbh and charge your customer for the service. They will give you test result and certificates needed to prove it's passed safe levels

just make sure that the pipework is ready to be cleaned before they turn up or you will pay twice.
